I think it has something to do with how Japan considers the group important, he’s looking out for his employees because that’s what meshes with the ideals and messages of his society (not to down play the fact that he’s a great guy for doing this)
In America, the message is all about “the dream”. Your dream. Everyone is looking out for themselves because since children they’ve been raised to believe that that’s what you do to be successful.
Yeah, the American CEOs are often greed, horrible people. But to be fair, that’s how America raised them.
^ That’s why I hate the American Dream.
Because the “Dream” is to be rich and live more expensive lives than anyone else, causing a disconnection of the classes, causing hatred and poverty which leads to rebellion, which then leads onto control.
The American dream is just a means of control, Everyone wants to control other people.
Why would you ever want that?
